At age four, Deborah was slammed by a steel cart pushed by an attendant at a department store, thrown in the air, and landed face down beneath a clothing rack. She awoke to find herself hovering near the ornate ceiling, sitting on and gently swinging from a light fixture with no fear of height. She could see the whole department floor laid out in sections and people gathering around a body on the floor (her own). She felt no attachment, simply observing without past or future. Then a pulling energy like a huge rubber band snapped her back into her body - not gravity but an elastic quality. She felt the impact to her head like a train. The experience left her awed and amazed at seeing her body from above, with a sense of being content to remain in that state forever.
