Alma had her first NDE at age one from dehydration, followed by multiple NDEs at ages 2.5, 3, and 4 from repeated sexual abuse. During the abuse, her attacker would suffocate her causing her to pass out. She vividly remembers his face, the smell of alcohol, and not crying. When everything went dark, she found herself in a calm place with sweet aromas like hundreds of flowers. She was floating inside a large White Light that surrounded her completely. It felt like being on a giant fluffy warm hand clasping her, also like being submerged in calm warm water. She knew she was safe and extremely loved. The abuse continued until almost age five when her grandmother witnessed it and forced the abuser out. During one final attempt, Alma resisted and said "No" for the first time, which led to her grandmother discovering the abuse and ending it permanently.
