A young man in his 20s suffered a serious car accident resulting in broken bones and countless internal injuries requiring ICU admission. Dr. Miguel Ángel Pertierra, a Spanish otolaryngologist, became involved to perform a tracheotomy. During the initial procedure with an inexperienced resident assistant, the patient's blood pressure suddenly dropped causing a brief cardiac arrest. Dr. Pertierra confirmed every detail was precisely accurate, emphasizing no family could have known these details as only the medical team was present in the ICU.
