When Josef awakened, he provided specific details about what he had witnessed during this apparent shared death experience. He told his mother: "Uncle Michael just fell out of bed. There was a light, and I saw a grown-up, white-haired lady. Uncle Michael kept shouting, 'Mother, Mother!'" The child's description included both physical events (the uncle falling from bed) and transmaterial perceptions (seeing a light and a white-haired woman whom the uncle recognized as his deceased mother). Josef's mother, deeply concerned by her son's distressing experience and specific claims, immediately attempted to contact Michael by telephone but received no answer. This inability to reach him heightened her worry about the validity of her son's nocturnal vision. The following day brought remarkable confirmation when Josef's aunt (Michael's wife) called to report that her husband had indeed fallen out of bed during the night, exactly as Josef had described.
