An overweight, middle-aged man with high blood pressure had repeatedly experienced heart attacks with cardiac arrest. He had been clinically dead multiple times and had several NDEs. During one cardiac arrest, he had an out-of-body experience where he observed from above as two nurses entered the room, one wearing a rose on her uniform. Two more nurses and one orderly then entered. His attending physician was called back in and removed his coat to relieve the nurse performing chest compressions. The patient specifically noticed the doctor was wearing a blue-striped tie. He saw all this while floating out of his body. The room then became dark, and he felt himself rapidly moving through a dark hallway before being brought back by a tremendous electrical shock to his chest. Dr. Rawlings verified that all the patient's specific observations were accurate: the number of people present, their actions, the clothing details including the rose and the blue-striped tie. Based on the sequence of actions observed, Rawlings concluded the patient must have been without heartbeat and unconscious during his entire NDE. The verified details of personnel, clothing, and actions during clinical death provide strong evidence.
