Stefan experienced an out-of-body experience during sleep where he found himself in space with total consciousness and universal knowledge. He understood everything about the universe, including a simple cure for cancer that seemed self-evident. He could access any knowledge he wanted through his own searching. A voice told him "Stefan, it's not your time yet" and directed him to dive into water to return to Earth. Upon diving, he experienced being born anew and woke up gasping in bed. He immediately tried to write down the knowledge but forgot everything except the basic experience. The experience left him thinking more about spiritual values though he remains not particularly religious.
