A terminally ill cancer patient in a German hospital near Tegernsee had a remarkable experience while being treated by Dr. Ricardo Ojeda-Vera, a Venezuelan assistant physician. The patient had breast carcinoma that had metastasized to her lungs, liver, and bones. During a routine ward round, she suddenly told Dr. Ojeda-Vera that he had written a beautiful letter to his mother the previous evening, surprising everyone present as they had no prior personal interactions. When questioned later, the patient revealed she had observed him from the ceiling of his home while he wrote the letter in Spanish at his desk, wearing a green bathrobe. Despite not knowing Spanish, she accurately described the letter's content about his work pressures and thoughts on living in Germany, as well as specific details including his pen, writing pad, desk arrangement, and Roman-style chair. The patient demonstrated paranormal knowledge of private information that occurred at a distance from the hospital. She died three days after this incident. Dr. Ojeda-Vera, who had no particular bond with the patient, called this the most impressive experience he had ever encountered.
