Annamma, approximately 40 years old, lost consciousness instantly after her husband struck her head with a stick during a quarrel. She remained unconscious for about 2 hours and experienced a profound journey to another realm during this time.
A lady appeared and asked Annamma to follow her, which she did. They walked through a forest with large trees. After some time, they reached a big place that resembled a city with many people busily engaged in their work. The lady took her into a large house and left her at the gate. Inside, Annamma saw Yamaraja and a huge black person sitting there. Upon questioning, she told them her name, and they responded: "You don't have a seat here; you go back." Yamaraja confirmed she should return and assigned someone to escort her out. A black person then took her to a place where fire was burning and burned her right leg below the knee with burning wood. He then called the same lady who had brought her to take her back. During the return journey, Annamma encountered her father who had died six years earlier. He inquired about family members and told her to go back. They followed the same route back. Upon reaching her village, she saw her own body lying on a mat, then regained consciousness with a vivid memory of the entire experience.
