A 7-year-old boy in Little Rock, Arkansas was undergoing chemotherapy when he went into anaphylactic shock with cardiac arrest after treatment began. The child demanded to know what the doctor had done with Jesus and where he was. The boy described a profound veridical experience during his cardiac arrest. He reported that he and Jesus were watching together as Dr. Sessions inserted a breathing tube into his throat. The child observed the specific medical procedures being performed on his body from an outside perspective. He then witnessed the doctor using the defibrillator machine to shock him, which he said made Jesus go away. The boy expressed distress about this separation, stating he had been all right with Jesus and did not want to return.
