In March 1984, Dr. Jaffri suffered a serious heart attack in the hospital. His nails and lips turned blue, blood circulation stopped, and his head fell to one side. His wife screamed and doctors rushed to provide emergency treatment including chest injections, CPR compressions, and defibrillation. After over 20 minutes without heartbeat, doctors gave up and covered his face. As a senior doctor approached his wife to announce his death, a younger doctor noticed movement and found life returning. During this time, Jaffri saw a person of light approaching before leaving his body, starting from feet moving to head, becoming a small being of light himself. In the company of this being, he witnessed a tunnel of light form on his right side with beautiful scenes. He saw waves of energy leaving the hospital, told by the being these were prayers for him rising up. Despite being told telepathically to return and being pushed from behind, he initially resisted before re-entering his body, feeling the familiar weight return.
