Dr. Amjad Ali Jaffri was participating in an Alpine club expedition at Dara Ratti Galli at 17,000 feet altitude in August 1955 when a landslide buried him under tons of earth. He felt his being escaping from his body from everywhere, surrounded by several beings of light whom he did not recognize but believed might be Prophet Muhammad, Ali ibn Talib, or similar figures. These beings communicated telepathically, telling him not to worry and be calm, providing other messages. He entered a state of total peace. His spiritual existence witnessed the rescue chaos from the other side of the mountain. He observed the rescue team names and conversations, including an Azad Kashmir officer convincing others to dig at a different location where his body was ultimately recovered. When recounting these specific details to the rescue team, including who said "forget about him," they were astonished but skeptical. The verified observations of rescue efforts from an external vantage point while buried provides strong veridical evidence.
