A woman with Sjogren's auto-immune disorder had become severely ill by 2008, requiring open heart surgery in 2002 for pericarditis and diagnosed with incurable lymphocytic interstitial pneumonitis in 2005. By October 2008, she was dependent on supplemental oxygen, addicted to opiates and benzodiazepines, severely depressed, and sleeping 16 hours daily. Three days before the overdose, she had all remaining teeth pulled under Valium sedation. While self-medicating at home, on October 23rd at 8:30 AM, she heard God's voice command "Call 911 NOW" despite feeling fine. She has no memory of making the call or subsequent events until awakening in intensive care.
She awoke intubated with bilateral inhalation pneumonia, unable to speak or write initially. All Sjogren's symptoms disappeared completely - her mouth and eyes became moist after 15 years of dryness. One year after the overdose, physicians found no lung disease; the incurable condition had vanished without residual damage. Both her physician and pulmonologist were astounded, stating "this sort of thing never happens" with no medical explanation. She experienced numerous lasting changes including increased hearing, healed bipolar disorder, prophetic dreams, knowing animal thoughts, and stronger marriage. She now lives her faith actively, speaking about her experience whenever given opportunity. Her husband, who never believed in a personal God, now believes due to witnessing her miraculous healing. Her message emphasizes that God loves us beyond measure and wants us to trust Him with our lives.
