The experiencer, adopted from Greece at age 4 and raised as an only child, was hospitalized with what had been repeatedly misdiagnosed as walking pneumonia but was actually viral cardiomyopathy. After calling 911 and being rushed to CICU, their heart stopped. They instantly found themselves in a vast bluish/white infinity radiating peace and beauty. Realizing they had died, they felt sadness for those left behind. A male presence on their right said "Do not worry. All is well," bringing complete peace. When they tried to look at him, he said "Do not look me in the face" and "Look beyond." They saw the cosmos - suns, planets, galaxies, universes teeming with radiant life energy. After hours of observation, the presence pointed into the vastness where they saw a young man's silhouette holding a cat. They felt profound love and connection, knowing this person was part of them. Before they could run forward, the presence stopped them saying "You must go back. You have much to accomplish" and told them a secret to be kept hidden until the right time. Colors never seen before radiated from the being's flowing sleeve. They awoke watching a female doctor in a fuchsia blouse working on someone, later learning it was themselves. Their heart had stopped for over 5 minutes. Months later, driven to search, they found their biological family in Greece through Facebook, discovering they had four brothers, one deceased brother named Spyro who appeared in photos holding a cat - matching the vision. They met the family after 47 years of separation.
