A 15-year-old experienced a severe allergic reaction on Good Friday that progressively worsened. After initial emergency room treatment with Benadryl, he awoke the next morning with whole-body swelling including heart and brain. At the doctor's office, he was slipping in and out of consciousness and on the verge of cardiac arrest. While lying on the examination bed, he left his body and looked down at it, feeling wonderfully light and free of pain. He saw his parents holding each other with his mother crying, feeling compassion but knowing they would be fine. He then entered a void or space, being pulled along a path with a feminine presence beside him who embraced him with intense love. They communicated without words and he was shown the universe - stars and galaxies - with access to all knowledge. He asked questions and gained deep understanding, though he cannot recall the specific knowledge. He felt movement toward a distant pinpoint of light, filled with indescribable love and peace, feeling connected to everything. After returning to consciousness following treatment with antihistamines and adrenaline, he felt weak but peaceful for days. The memory remains vivid after forty years, providing comfort during difficult times and inspiring a life dedicated to compassion, peace, and justice causes.
