A hard-driving businessman experienced two profound NDEs. The first occurred at age 45 in 1995 during a massive heart attack requiring triple bypass surgery. He drifted to a place of inexplicable calm with the bluest sky ever seen, tall grass gently blowing over rolling hills without breeze or sound, filled with warmth and universal oneness. Frames of his children flashed across the horizon, looking worried and needing him back. He chose to return for them despite the pain awaiting, seeing no bright lights or angels. His second NDE happened in 1997 during a serious car crash in Canada where he protected his daughter from impact. With pelvis broken in three places, punctured lung, fractured skull and severed ear, he felt no pain while trapped. He experienced a wide tunnel-like walkway with people appearing from waist up at the end - recognizing two grandfathers and his father (who had died with Alzheimer's but appeared healthy). Someone shook his hand in greeting. He was shown options to stay or return and felt coached to go back. A warm hand slowly released as he floated backward. He also saw a brown door with porcelain knob against black, knowing God and bright light were behind it, available anytime. Following these experiences, he lost fear of death, developed deep empathy for others' hurt, became sensitive to real tragedies, and now carefully shares his experiences while wanting to help others with their concerns.
