The experiencer reports two childhood near-death experiences resulting from severe abuse. At age two, their father held them underwater in a bathtub until they left their body, experiencing themselves hovering at the ceiling in a dark void where "nothing but everything was there at the same time." They observed their father holding them under water until a neighbor intervened, pushing the father away and rescuing the child. The experiencer distinctly remembered thinking "Finally it's over" before leaving the body. At age four, another incident occurred when the father severely beat and tortured the child with a belt, carpet beater, and pen that was pushed deep into calf and underarm muscles. During this assault, the experiencer again left their body, hovering at the ceiling and watching the continuous abuse. Police eventually arrived and stopped the assault, with a doctor declaring the child dead before they suddenly returned to the body. Both times, the experiencer felt disappointed to return to physical form. Following these experiences, the person developed strong healing abilities, including the capacity to affect others' energy, restore mobility to paralyzed individuals, and prevent amputation through healing touch.
