On August 30, 2017, at 2 AM, a man experiencing severe hypoglycemia became aggressive with his wife who called paramedics. Fighting increased with police arrival who used Ativan nasal spray three times. After being hit with a baton and falling off the porch, he suffered instant cardiac arrest while being cuffed. CPR was started and shock pads used 3 times. Records showed 8 minutes before heart beat returned but couldn't beat independently; after 18 minutes total it beat on its own. During clinical death, he found himself at his foyer doorway seeing walls made of "wooden gold" that spoke saying "I am the greatest wood ever made." Moving/floating toward the door, bright light shone through.
On the porch, he saw incredible blue sky he could taste, and a tree 20 feet away with branches moving slowly like dancing. Red and golden leaves twisted slowly, laughing like children on a playground. He saw his still-living family: parents and brother looking up at light, teenage stepchildren on steps, wife crying with arms around him, and his 8-year-old stepson and 6-year-old son standing beside him. A man floating 15 feet up encircled by cloud said "Hey there, JohnBoy" - he recognized this as Jesus. The light came from Jesus, shining through yet the tree looked solid. Falling face-down, his life flashed by in a second. Jesus said "What are you talking about? That doesn't exist here" removing his tears and burdens. When offered freedom to come, his sons reminded him of promises to build a treehouse. He chose responsibility and grabbed his son's hand. He came off life support 10 days later, initially unable to talk, walk, or move, but recovered in 5 days.
