A young woman at a woodland rave after drinking and taking ecstasy collapsed or lay down and found herself looking up at the sky. She could hear music distantly as tree branches above began swaying in an alluring, loving way, seeming to call to her. She rose effortlessly and blissfully toward them, feeling completely clear-headed despite the drugs. She felt natural, comfortable, free, light, and enveloped in welcoming love - more capable and sure of herself than ever before in life. The trees seemed alive and conscious, communicating with her, happy she could see their true form. As she drifted higher, the branches parted revealing silvery light behind them.
She could clearly hear friends Scott and Jane anxiously shouting her name, saying "Wake up, come on now, you have to wake up!" She tried responding "No, no, don't worry, I'm totally fine!" but realized they couldn't hear her. She recognized she wasn't in her body but just eyes, ears, and thoughts, feeling no fear. Though irritated by their worry, she continued drifting upward toward the silvery light beyond the branches. Scott gave her the kiss of life, causing her to jerk awake and vomit. He confirmed they found her unresponsive with eyes closed, thought she was dead, and had pulled her eyelids up seeing her "gone." They were with her for what felt like ages but probably less than 10 minutes. She was extremely unhappy to be pulled back from the blissful experience.
