The experiencer was canoeing with a friend when the boat capsized, trapping their legs under the front seat with their head underwater. After struggling to get free, they gave up and relaxed, finding themselves looking down from a tunnel entrance at their body receiving CPR on shore. They experienced an overwhelming feeling of perfectness where everything was infinite and complete, describing it as similar to quantum physics' wave function of infinite potential. No pulse or breathing was detected when the friend brought them to shore.
The tunnel was very bright, and from this vantage point they could see their physical body below being resuscitated. The experience included a profound sense that all possibilities existed simultaneously in perfect completeness. They felt no sadness about leaving their body and no immediate desire to return. The return to their body happened naturally without trauma. The person observed their friend had swum them to shore where CPR was being administered. The medical team found no pulse or breathing initially. After returning, all medical readings including EKG were normal, though doctors described them as having been a "flat liner" and having had a "significant arrhythmic event." Following this experience, the person developed several enhanced abilities including precognitive flashes that always came true, the ability to sense where animals are hurt internally, unusual connections with wildlife like hummingbirds landing on their hand, and knowing when specific songs will play on the radio.
