An 11-year-old UK boy received a BMX bike for his birthday and went out to get milk for his mother. Police had told him to ride on the main road rather than the path. A Volvo estate car struck him, dragging him 100 yards underneath. He lost 6 pints of blood and his heart stopped for more than 5 minutes, remaining unconscious for days. During his NDE, he saw a bright light brighter than ever seen and traveled at fast speeds through vast whiteness. A door appeared floating in the white space. As he approached, a calming voice asked him to go through, but then a scary voice shouted "Don't go through the door!" Feeling panic, he rushed through the door to find his mother standing over him as he returned to reality. Several coincidences saved his life: an ambulance was 5 minutes away, a garage worker quickly called for help, and the ambulance carried a resuscitation unit they don't always have. Without these coincidences, he wouldn't have survived. Since the NDE, he reports passionate personality, super high senses (taste, smell, thoughts), and fascination with people, systems and technology.
