The subject experienced a near-death event at birth, delivered at home as a breech birth with only an aunt attending the mother. Coming out feet first, the baby was blue and not breathing. The infant was wrapped in a towel and placed where the mother couldn't see. When the midwife arrived and checked, she worked on the baby for a while before crying began, shocking everyone present. This medical crisis wasn't known to the subject until their 30s.
Throughout life, the subject has always had memories of being somewhere before birth, able to describe it in detail. These pre-birth memories created confusion about identity, wondering about their father and the people present. The memories were persistent and clear, remaining in consciousness from earliest childhood. While no specific observations from the birth NDE are described, the subject maintains they could describe the pre-birth location thoroughly. The birth complications were later confirmed when the subject learned in their 30s about being born blue, not breathing, and being revived by the midwife. The aunt and midwife's presence and their shock at revival were documented. The subject discovered this matched their lifelong memories of the experience. In the last decade, the subject has developed increased sensitivity and the ability to see things. While working in a nursing home, they could predict when residents would die with approximately 80% accuracy. They also report clearer perception of what they believe are past lives. These enhanced abilities appeared to strengthen significantly in recent years.
