At age 11, the subject was strangled by her mother but blocked out much of the memory. She remembers seeing her mother sitting on top of someone with hands around their throat, viewing this from the doorway about 6 feet away. She became very quiet afterward and experienced paranormal phenomena including presences on her bed, taps turning on and off, and frequently hearing her name called. At age 40, her sister visited and confirmed the strangling incident, revealing that the subject was actually the victim, not watching from the doorway - her sister had to pull their mother off her. The perspective shift suggests an out-of-body experience during the strangulation. At 21, she had another brief NDE from codeine allergy, experiencing a dark tunnel with light at the end before her father slapped her awake. She has since developed strong intuitive, clairvoyant and clairsentient abilities, becoming an energy healer. She believes she returned to learn unconditional love and serve as a conduit for others, affecting everything around her through her enhanced abilities.
