About 15 years ago, the subject was in a dark place, working excessive hours to escape an unhappy marriage. After taking half an ecstasy pill and drinking alcohol with friends, she stayed awake all night and into the next day. While cleaning, she felt increasingly drained and experienced an internal battle about whether to rest. When she finally lay down, she felt her heartbeat slow progressively until everything stopped. She found herself looking down at her body, then entered complete darkness where she felt she didn't exist yet was part of existence. A presence approached and enveloped her in overwhelming, indescribable unconditional love. Through telepathic communication, the presence asked "Are you sure?" and "Like this?" referring to dying under these circumstances. When asked about her mother, she realized her mother would struggle with her death, especially involving drugs. She instantly returned to her body in extreme pain, unable to move initially. She was later diagnosed with a double kidney infection at the hospital. The experience transformed her life completely, giving her a deep understanding of her life's purpose, though integration took years.
