Marilyn experienced anaphylactic shock from the antibiotic Avelox and passed out. EMTs carried her down from the second floor of her house while she was unconscious. During this time, she saw a glorious golden light with a group of people standing there of all shapes and heights. She couldn't remember faces but felt happy and content. The EMTs were telling her not to tighten her arms but she was unaware of this at the time. When the EMTs put her on the gurney and shook her awake, she initially didn't know where she was and felt sadness at waking up. She believes some of the figures would have been her deceased relatives though she couldn't see faces. Her husband was home due to being laid off, which she believes was divine providence as she would have died without help.
