The experiencer was driving when their vehicle skidded, rolled several times, and landed upside down. They were knocked unconscious and felt transformed out of body into another realm. They found themselves floating in a vast void with no colors or lights, just a feeling of complete release, peace, and comfort. They wanted to remain in this peaceful state.
In the void, they felt the presence of their brother who had died a year earlier. More profoundly, they sensed several beings communicating telepathically without words but with a clear message: it was not their time, there was much for them to do yet. Despite feeling sad about having to return, the message was definitive. The beings emphasized "it is OK" along with the instruction to return. Upon returning from the void to the accident scene, they remained out of body but now stood across the road alongside a friend who had witnessed the accident. They looked at each other while the experiencer's physical body remained visible inside the wrecked vehicle. This dual presence was observed by both parties. Then they were suddenly pulled back into their body inside the car. They awakened upside down with their head on the sunroof, crawled out through the driver's side window, and walked across the road to where their friend still stood in the same spot. When asked, the friend confirmed she had just seen them standing there moments before, despite their body being trapped in the vehicle. This shared observation of the experiencer's spiritual form outside the wreck while their physical body remained inside provided remarkable third-party verification of the out-of-body state.
