As a child, the experiencer was hit by a truck after getting off the school bus, suffering a broken femur, 6 cracked ribs, and punctured lungs. She remembers looking up at shocked people and a paramedic ripping her jeans, then saw the ambulance drive off with her body - her spirit was out, free, and in no pain. She had a short but fast life review that scared her knowing her life was about to end.
She woke in darkness that night in the hospital with tubes in her nose and throat, leg in traction, initially thinking she was in hell until a nurse explained she had been in an accident. The next day, with family surrounding her bed and a priest giving Last Rites, she was instantly above her body looking down, feeling bad about how awful she looked and her family's sadness. She then traveled fast toward the wooden cross on the wall, entering a huge ball of white light that protected her and brought her to Heaven. She saw herself skipping, laughing, and holding the strong hand of Jesus, who wore a white flowing gown and sandals. He made her feel incredibly loved and she was excited about where He was taking her. When Jesus said "it is not your time, you have to go back," she wanted to throw a tantrum but had to return. Back above her damaged body, upset about returning, she bounced around the room like a racquetball fighting not to go back until "pop!" - she was suctioned into her chest area with no choice but to surrender. Since the accident, she has never felt the same and still longs to return to Heaven.
