The experiencer had two NDEs. At age 15, he was killed in a tractor accident, becoming a spirit watching his uncle continue driving unaware he was caught in the wheel and axle. After his uncle discovered and carried his body out, he merged back into it at the hospital, refusing amputation of his leg. At age 27, he was burned to death in a gasoline fire with a nurse trying to save him. He called out to God and felt his spirit leave through the ceiling into space.
Initially in darkness like a balloon floating upward, he heard many voices crying that gradually faded. One voice clearly said "I Love You." He saw stars appear, first as specks then surrounding him completely. He felt profound peace in space, needing no air or water. A star grew larger and brighter, which he desired as "the star of my next life." Suddenly he felt lifted like a 2-3 year old child by someone placing hands under his arms, giggling as he was pulled away from the star. He fell asleep in these arms and woke merging back into his body, initially thinking he was in physical heaven. Others screamed he was a ghost when they saw him. A man told him he had been dead a long time and the ambulance was coming for his body. He drove himself to the hospital and refused skin grafts, healing completely over two years with no scars despite burns from head to ankles. Since then, he receives messages to write about world peace, experiencing strong compulsions to share these writings with officials. He lost his marriage and business to this calling but continues to receive these messages at age 49, understanding there is always life even after death.
