A woman with cerebral palsy from a birth trauma shares two death experiences. First, as a one-week-old infant in the 1960s, she died during a blood transfusion when given incompatible blood, turning black and stiff with rigor mortis. After her mother prayed asking God to take or heal her, she miraculously revived, pink and moving. In 2009, she cut her leg which became septic. Despite seeing Jesus heal the wound, she experienced death the day after her son's 14th birthday. She felt a sharp pain in her right eye, blood rushing over her brain, then heartbeat and breathing stopping. She was enveloped in dark, black existence outside her body. Jesus's voice told her to stop breathing as she didn't need to anymore. She felt relief, warmth, love and peace in what she believed was Death's dark cloak, floating higher from mortality. Later, her eyes opened to brightness where her deceased father stood healthy, holding out his hand to welcome her home. She immediately said "No" and gently re-entered her dead body, feeling heartbeat and breathing restart. She woke the next morning and worked a full day without anyone knowing she had died. Ten days later she began her MLA program. She graduated in 2012 and was able to walk her eldest down the aisle. She describes death as the door to the real world beyond this imitation called life.
