In 2000, a woman in her mid-twenties gave birth to her second child after being diagnosed with toxemia at 35 weeks. Her father had passed when she was 16 from cancer. Following delivery, her condition worsened despite treatment with blood pressure skyrocketing and repeated passing out. Confined to bed and unable to hold her son, she was in physical and emotional pain. With only her mother present as her husband took their daughter to eat, she thought she was falling asleep but experienced a lightness and began floating toward a light. Everything else was dark but she felt no fear. Moving toward the light brought growing peace, love, and warmth. She no longer hurt physically or emotionally, feeling only joy and happiness with no struggle. She then heard her deceased father call her "Princess" and tell her it wasn't her time. Despite protesting that she wanted to stay with him in this wonderful feeling, he insisted she had two beautiful children who needed her and that he would be waiting when it was her time. She grudgingly decided to fight for her children and returned to her body, with blood pressure normalizing and pain disappearing. Her mother later confirmed she went from extremely restless to extremely calm, then woke as if never sick. She now doesn't fear death for herself, only what it would mean for her children.
