On April 12, 2021, a man experienced sudden cardiac arrest at home after struggling with breathing and a heart rate of 179 at Walmart. Despite calling his doctor's after-hours line and being told to eat and rest, he urgently insisted his wife call 911. When paramedics arrived, his blood pressure was too low to measure and heart rate was 42 bpm. He experienced a profound hellish near-death experience during 90 minutes of CPR before miraculous recovery.
Before and during the medical crisis, he saw a dark figure in his bedroom corner that seemed to want him to come toward it, which he perceived as an evil spirit possibly connected to his deceased father. In the ambulance, after telling an EMT he was dying and grabbing their arm for help, his soul was thrown from the ambulance and landed outside the hospital where he was chased by a demon that told him he'd never see his girlfriend or mother again. He experienced tremendous pain, then heard a familiar voice calling his childhood nickname "Rockie." He found himself in a black void, suspended in darkness, calling weakly for help. Remembering his mother's teaching about repentance, he began falling into what he believed was hell, hearing screams and curses around him. He prayed for forgiveness and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, which stopped his fall. He landed on a scalding hot boulder with burning feet, smelling burning flesh, still unable to see. A comforting voice told him it wasn't his time but he must prove himself by climbing out. Despite voices telling him he couldn't make it, he climbed walls of sharp, hot, slippery rocks until Jesus Christ pulled him out with a strong, comforting hand. The angelic voice then showed him life review scenes requiring him to explain lessons learned, including violent incidents and gluttony, stating these were things he needed to make right. His grandmother appeared in a bright white space, telling him to return to his family. After 90 minutes of CPR resulting in full cardiac arrest, he made a miraculous recovery with normal kidney function and resolved anemia. He now has a pacemaker but gained intuitive abilities and prophetic dreams. The experience converted him to faith in Jesus Christ and left him perpetually grateful.
