A woman with stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer had a seizure and was brought to the ER where she lost consciousness. Upon waking from heavy sedation, she saw her neurosurgeon surrounded by white light with intensely blue eyes, perceiving him as an angel. Seven days later during brain surgery, excessive blood loss caused an out-of-body experience. She first went to a void, then was brought to an infinite white light space she describes as cozy. She was greeted by deceased loved ones, spirit guides, and divine beings. She was told it wasn't her time and she had a story to share, but could return anytime. She left with relief and hope, no fear about potentially losing ability to walk, talk, or remember. Despite dire medical warnings, she recovered from end-stage brain cancer. She experienced spontaneous remission from an incurable glioblastoma, becoming a medical interest case. The experience changed her personality, making her more introverted and able to hear others' thoughts. She no longer cares about material things or status, pursuing art therapy certification and planning a PhD. She moved back to her hometown and spends time in nature, meditation, and hiking.
