A woman underwent spine surgery on a Friday and experienced cardiac arrest on the operating table. She saw her deceased parents slowly advancing toward her through a tunnel about eight feet in diameter, with light glowing behind and around them. They appeared in their late 50s wearing blue summer outfits, gliding effortlessly with slight grins but no words spoken. She had no pain and incredibly sharp eyesight despite no body awareness. She then observed herself on a hospital bed with restraints and tubes, in what appeared like a spaceship with tall men in white coats. She heard them say they had to take her up and thought this was how you get to heaven. It took three rounds of CPR to revive her, resulting in four broken ribs. Upon waking Sunday morning, she experienced an unusual after-effect: she saw President Abraham Lincoln sitting by a window in the adjacent building all night, complete with top hat, though the nurse could not see him. She believes Lincoln may be a spirit guide or angel watching over her.
