While hospitalized with serious pneumonia and a major allergic skin rash, the experiencer found themselves alone in their room one night when they began moving "above" their body. The experience felt somewhat like sleeping but with awareness of having the dream. They found themselves in a very dark, cold place where they didn't want to stay. Feeling compelled to climb, they came to a high vertical wall and climbed up it. Upon reaching the top, they were instantly surrounded by the most beautiful, pure light and colors beyond imagination. The light was everywhere and went into them. They felt pure love, acceptance, and perfect happiness. The grass and colors beneath were of the purest hues, accompanied by music like bells. A lovely woman dressed in white (an angel) appeared and they traveled together across the grass toward a building. They communicated telepathically without speaking. They entered a large building with a long hall where others passed going the opposite direction, communicating without words, with someone mentioning "cancer." At the hall's end was a room with infinite levels where people on each level did activities they loved - including a beach and ballroom. Before entering, the angel informed them it was "not their time." Instantly they were back in the cold, dark place and then in their body with pain again. The experience from 15 years ago remains vivid as if it happened yesterday, continuing to be the most profound of their life. Since the NDE, they've had many precognitive experiences: clear precognition two days before their father's sudden death including a dream of receiving a phone call about a male family member dying, dreams of plane crashes and traumatic events the night before they happen, and dreams of highway collapses days before occurrence.
