In December 2008, the experiencer underwent a hysterectomy after severe anemia from excessive bleeding. Two weeks post-surgery, she developed severe pain and fever, was readmitted, but the source of infection could not be found. On December 31st, her appendix burst, causing sepsis, e-coli, and staph infections. She spent four days hovering between life and death. During this time, she left her body and was surrounded by beautiful Beings of Light who showered her with incredible love. She was told telepathically that her physical condition was grave. She experienced love more profound than ever before, filling every cell with radiance like warm fire. She could see her mother and brother were present but refused to see them, knowing she wouldn't want to leave if she did. She existed as golden white light radiating and connecting to everything in the universe. Her Angels explained that our purpose is to discover unconditional love within ourselves and offer it to others, that all paths lead back to Source, and that adversities are growth opportunities. When asked if it was her time, she was told the choice was hers. Thinking of her children who had already suffered much loss, she chose to return. The doctors called her recovery a miracle, attributing her survival to being in excellent physical shape and the IV antibiotics given before the rupture. The experience fundamentally changed her worldview, making her see all people as connected parts of the same Source, leading to deeper relationships and more meaningful work helping others on their spiritual paths.
