A young woman in the Critical Care Unit with a rare form of pneumonia not responding to medications experienced a profound NDE while struggling to breathe with a BiPAP machine. Her experience began with traveling upward through the ceiling and into space through a black void, feeling unexpectedly peaceful despite thinking she should be afraid. She observed planets, stars like diamonds, and invisible matter with mass beside them. Arriving at a receiving station, she was greeted by a female guide who showed her around a level where souls appeared as yellow orbs of light zipping through an enormous archway, with some orbs talking as they passed. She experienced overwhelming love beyond mortal comprehension and felt connected to everything in existence. Her journey included seeing different life forms on other worlds, including beings whose good or evil nature was immediately apparent and others who made homes inside trees. She crossed a rainbow bridge, saw a mother-of-pearl building, visited a building where miracles were stored containing body parts for healings, and saw an amber door with intricate carvings. She sensed different levels of heaven and saw her deceased father's eyes through a porthole above, knowing they couldn't reunite yet. Upon waking, she briefly saw demon-like creatures and a door on the ceiling that disappeared when she blinked. The experience left her profoundly changed, especially developing a deep connection with animals.
