At 17, the patient met an emotionally abusive boyfriend who convinced her to join a suicide pact, claiming they were "better" than society. After a year of manipulation and drug abuse, she repeatedly drove long distances at his request for planned overdoses that never materialized. When she finally refused one night, he completed suicide alone. Following his funeral, she attempted suicide herself by taking an entire package of OTC sleep medicine in an empty parking deck.
As the overdose took effect, she saw her fingernails turn yellow and became unable to move. While leaning back in her car seat, completely numb, her consciousness moved to clouds visible through the windshield without leaving her body. She encountered a male presence who was upset and annoyed that she was trying to "get in" where he was. Behind him were several passive male and female presences waiting to return to where they came from. The presence reprimanded her angrily, telling her she had absolutely no right to come there and to "get the hell away." She felt his anger and was hurt and sad at the rejection. She was repeatedly told she had no business there before being pushed back into her body. Unable to move initially, she desperately tried to sit up and call for help before eventually regaining body function and driving home, where she slept for two days. The experience permanently ended her suicidal ideation. Over time, she developed an overwhelming sense of being watched and loved by beings in ways no human could. She feels grateful for the experience and the strong sense of divine love it brought, though she wishes she could go "home" without suicidal intent, knowing she will eventually return after learning new lessons.
