A 10-year-old girl with strep throat and pneumonia experienced anaphylactic shock from a penicillin injection after being wrapped in cold sheets for fever reduction. She floated to the upper-right corner of the hospital room, observing her body below with complete disidentification. Through the wall, she could see her distraught mother in the hallway. The medical staff frantically attended to her body while she watched dispassionately from above.
A brilliant white-silver light began filling the room and enveloped her, drawing her into a corridor of light where she merged completely with it. In this pulsing brilliance of exquisite love and peace, she encountered a magnificent being of pure Divine Love, flanked by two other beings. Communication was telepathic and instantaneous. The central being, whom she recognized as God, encouraged her to review her life before deciding whether to stay or return. The life review was extraordinarily detailed - she experienced every thought, word, and deed from the perspective of everyone she had ever encountered, feeling their emotions and seeing the ripple effects of her actions through them to others. She saw how simple gestures like genuine smiles had profound impacts. She witnessed a "reunion" with every person she had ever met, all welcoming her home. After seeing glimpses of her future life including children she would birth and her mother's potential devastation, she chose to return. The experience included visits to an ethereal realm with vivid colors, fragrances, and beings in flowing garments who communicated telepathically. She learned that we are all one, that only love is real, and that we hold ourselves accountable for our unloving actions. Since the experience, she has become more intuitive and had spontaneous healings and mystical visions.
