In August 2020, a woman preparing for a dinner party suddenly experienced violent vomiting and diarrhea from apparent food poisoning. The severe illness continued for two weeks with spiking fevers, inability to eat, and extreme weight loss to 111 pounds. Her husband had to carry her to the bathroom as she became too weak to walk. She was so ill she lay in her own waste for two weeks, too sick to move or have sheets changed. She lost track of time with days and nights blending together during the prolonged critical illness.
During this near-death state, she woke up in a desert setting where she saw Jesus casually leaning against a large boulder at a cliff wall, wearing his white robe. Having daily conversations with Jesus previously, she wasn't surprised by his appearance and immediately asked if he would "burn all this out" of her. He responded "Yes, ma'am" through telepathy. Their conversation continued, though parts were wiped from her memory to be remembered later. Jesus walked over and touched her head with a fingertip, after which she awoke back in her bed. She immediately grabbed her phone to document the experience, then walked into the kitchen where her family celebrated her survival. About a year later, she discovered the phone notes revealing she had asked Jesus about her book and had given him her life to use as he pleased. She describes being "a sucker for the guy" who she turns her life and will over to daily. Following the experience, Jesus dictated her second book during what seemed like a manic high lasting months, which some call channeling. The after-effects included complete healing from several addictions (including cough drops), heightened spiritual perception allowing her to "see through everything and everyone," and an unshakeable conviction that she had to have died to meet Jesus. She emphasizes that once one walks with Jesus, all else pales, and she maintains absolute trust in divine guidance. A year after the experience, she burst into tears with the realization she must have died.
