A woman's voice suddenly spoke to her in a loving but firm tone, calling her by name "Gitte" and telling her she must breathe. As a reflex, she took a deep breath and was instantly pulled back into her body as if by an elastic attached to her navel. She found herself back in the dark recovery room. This same sequence repeated four more times - the fatigue would return, she would find herself in the void where the "heavy coat" would immediately fall away, and the woman's voice would command her to breathe, pulling her back to her body. She tried to fight the fatigue and reach for a nurse call button but was repeatedly overcome. After the final return, she felt ordinary tiredness and fell into normal sleep, waking hours later in a hospital room. The experience involved multiple transitions between her body and a peaceful void state where breathing was unnecessary. Each time required external intervention from a feminine voice to return her to physical life. The repetitive nature suggests possible respiratory complications from post-operative pain medication requiring supernatural intervention to maintain breathing.
