The experiencer had a head-on collision at 6:30 AM on the way to work. The first memory after impact was floating approximately 20 feet above the ground, observing their body trapped in the car from this elevated perspective. They experienced unexplainable peace and felt surrounded by God's presence. Despite it being morning, they perceived a beautiful night sky with stars and illuminated mountain ranges. The visual perception was unusual - not like normal vision but rather a three-dimensional awareness of all surroundings simultaneously, consuming a large dimension of space rather than looking in one direction. The experience lasted what felt like 5-10 seconds before a sensory overload brought them back into their trapped body, feeling pain, cold, and seeing vehicle lights. Their next memory was praying aloud and asking a man to pray for them, which he did. They spent 10 days in ICU and doctors said they should be dead, expecting hospitalization through March, but were released after only three weeks. During recovery, they experienced a profound mental and spiritual transformation with overwhelming divine presence during prayer. All anger and bitterness disappeared, replaced with peace and a completely transformed outlook on life, relationships, and perspective.
