The experiencer was taking large amounts of cocaine when they went into a seizure and died. Friends witnessed them dying and screaming that they were dead. During the experience, the person found themselves climbing an autumn hill to a flat rock overlooking a divide of water. They observed people appearing to picnic happily on the other side, with a fountain, beautiful flowers that seemed to worship the light, and extraordinary colors. A male figure in white appeared and gave them a tour of a celestial city containing great halls and libraries with scrolls of various sizes, including one so large it took up an entire wall. Beautiful choir music would periodically sound, causing everyone to stop and praise before resuming their activities. The experiencer learned about angelic duties including counting births and deaths, and how different areas of heaven oversee different aspects of earthly life. They spent what felt like all day there though only two minutes passed on earth. Upon return, they had no cocaine effects despite the large dose, lost all drug cravings, and developed profound love for all people, psychic abilities, and sensitivity to light and sound. Three witnesses were present who confirmed the death but never saw the guide in white. The experiencer now struggles with earthly time concepts and appointments.
