A mother of four-year-old twins became severely ill with pneumonia and was admitted to ICU with failing organs. She was on various antibiotic drips but picked up a super bug and progressively worsened. From day two forward, she drifted in and out of confusion, becoming very weak. On the eighth day, she was put on a ventilator. The day before waking, she had a near-death experience where she found herself in a very bright, white light place with angels who looked like people but no one she knew. They were at the other end of a tunnel while she was at the near end. Someone kept saying "come, the fight will be over, come and you will feel better." The pull toward the angels was huge, feeling safe and secure. She walked partway down the tunnel, but below she could see her children looking up at her, needing her. She told the angels she needed to stay with her children. They continued calling "come, come" and it was exceptionally difficult to fight the urge to go - it would have been utopia. Halfway down the tunnel, she looked at her children again, immediately turned around and walked back. The angels' calling grew quieter until she woke up. She doesn't know how long after the experience she awakened. By the 13th day her condition had improved. She could recall the experience immediately upon waking, knowing she had chosen to stay with her children. She is now healthy and a mother to four beautiful children.
