A 60-year-old Vietnam veteran with stage 3A lung cancer underwent pneumonectomy (lung removal) surgery in 2000. A month later, during a second surgery to repair a fistula, he died on the operating table. Upon awakening, he observed the entire surgical team of seven physicians huddled together praying for him across the room. When one noticed his eyes open and shouted "He's alive," they rushed back, explaining they had tried everything to revive him before gathering to pray for his soul. One physician stayed behind and revealed that while the patient was clinically dead with his chest open, he began talking out loud to Jesus Christ in a two-way conversation, though only the patient's voice was audible. The doctor documented this in medical records. A month later, a psychic friend who had predicted his cancer revealed the conversation's content: when he died, he screamed apologies for hurting anyone, attracting Jesus's attention. He told Jesus about his cancer treatment, disability check, and desire to have fun, making everyone laugh. Jesus touched him, instantly cured his cancer, and sent him back with 26 more years to live helping others. The friend saw lights and angels around him. His cancer later metastasized to stage 4 in 2003, but after surgery, mysteriously disappeared completely. He remains the sole survivor of 12 clinical trial participants. In 2007, during a heart attack, he had another NDE where focusing on light during prayer caused his BiPAP dependency to spontaneously resolve. He now dedicates his life to telling others about Jesus healing him.
