Soldier in Army Basic Training received concussion from illegal pugil stick uppercut after sparring ended. Collapsed getting into ambulance, temperature reached 107-109°F. Doctors declared him brain dead due to prolonged extreme fever. During coma, found himself in what he thought was heaven - dark grey concrete room with wooden beams. A Mediterranean-looking man in dirty tan robes with gold belt welcomed him. A blonde woman surrounded by light took his hand and they traveled through beam of light. Had life review seeing childhood, including day grandmother died. Traveled above Earth viewing it from space. Visited what appeared to be Biblical times with early Roman architecture, people in period clothing. Saw buildings of concrete with wooden beams, marble columns, polished stone paths. Upon waking, nurse was surprised as they thought he'd never wake from permanent coma. People said he wasn't the same person after. Believes the Mediterranean man somehow joined his body - sees the man's hands in OBEs, has had 30 years of visions. Recently asked by God if humanity deserved to survive; the man inside him answered "no."
