The subject experienced two NDEs. The first occurred during childhood while home sick from school. They awoke to what felt like the ceiling falling and an earthquake, lost vision, and found themselves in bed with mother and aunt present. The experience began in blackness, then shapes of colors and sizes flew past. A bright light appeared ahead, and they moved toward it following their mother's instruction. They saw clouds or thick mist above with light everywhere. A ladder appeared going up into the mist, and a hand reached down. Though unable to see a face, they knew it was Jesus's hand. After returning, they felt changed and believed they could fly for a long time. The second NDE occurred in November 1997 at age 30 at a couple's house. A bull-mastiff dog suddenly attacked, biting into their temples. They immediately entered the black realm and pleaded about having responsibilities and children. They heard people saying "She's dead. What are we going to do?" before returning to their body with blood spurting from head wounds, experiencing stroke symptoms. After this event, they saw only glowing green or red eyes in people indicating good or evil. Unlike the first experience where they felt not all of them returned after entering the light, this time they returned fully as they didn't go into the light.
