A girl with severe epilepsy experienced three NDEs. At age 13, she had a seizure while swimming in Taupo, New Zealand, and drowned. She transitioned from extreme panic while drowning to being pain-free and detached, floating about 20 feet above in spirit watching the lifeguard resuscitate her body as crowds gathered. She felt relief and wanted to continue into the spiritual world but was urged by another spirit to return as her time wasn't up. She was forced back despite resistance. At 17, during a flying fox adventure ride, her safety belt caused suffocation when she couldn't reach the platform. She lost consciousness while dangling until a teenage boy rescued her with a stick from a cliff. At 19, a ruptured appendix triggered a seizure, and she died requiring CPR and life support. Doctors confirmed she had died and was revived. Though she doesn't recall the spiritual aspect of the third experience, she remembers the severe pain and slow recovery. These experiences taught her empathy, gave her a sense of purpose and belonging, and removed her fear of death. Now a solo mother with three college degrees running two businesses, she views these experiences as learning opportunities that inspire her to help others.
