A severe head-on collision resulted in a near-death experience where the individual's spirit was violently flung from their body at the moment of impact. The person was a passenger in a vehicle that crossed lanes and collided head-on with another car, killing three people. With an engineering background, they instantly calculated that all four occupants would die. In the split second before impact, they tried to protect the driver, their friend of 25 years, by putting their left arm out to guard them.
The collision was catastrophic - breaking their left femur twice, shattering their left forearm, and causing severe head trauma. At the moment their head struck the dashboard, their spirit was forcefully ejected from their body, landing at the chest of a much larger spiritual being. In this state, they experienced no pain, only darkness, but felt physically renewed in their spiritual form. They declared with a deep, commanding voice mixed with commitment and reason: "I'm not done yet." A second consciousness observed in disbelief, questioning who they thought they were to remain with this being rather than return to their mangled body. There was no tunnel of light, just a dark setting with these spiritual presences. The person felt a strong commitment to an unfinished project that needed to survive. After pushing away from the larger spiritual being, they returned to their body just before the airbag deployed, which then violently threw them against the roof, cracking their head open. Despite the severity of injuries requiring careful extraction to prevent amputation, they survived. The experience left them with an oddly calming aura and a sense of being guided by forces beyond their control. They reflected that throughout their life, they had survived approximately 10 life-threatening experiences, including a prophetic dream in 1993 about their own death. They concluded that there is more beyond than just light and loving figures - that we accept challenges in life guided by strong, objective spiritual presences beyond our awareness.
