On January 10th, a person began feeling unwell, initially thinking they had eaten something bad. The condition worsened over two days until they awoke at 12:30 a.m. with stabbing abdominal pain. After waiting hours to reach someone, a neighbor took them to urgent care at 7 a.m., where they received a direct admit to the hospital. Despite the urgent referral, they waited eight hours in the ER becoming increasingly incoherent. Initially diagnosed with Crohn's disease and appendicitis, surgery revealed not only appendicitis but also a ruptured ileum with pus spreading as high as the liver. The doctor later indicated the appendix likely ruptured Wednesday afternoon and the ileum the previous night.
During the ER wait, the person slipped away into a darkened roadway with colored streaks and sparks, feeling like riding an airport moving walkway. They found themselves in a desert-like place with people streaming toward a building resembling a 19th-century church crossed with a barn. Inside, people and small animals were occupied with their tasks. Only a badger would talk to them, saying they would eventually go where needed. Outside was bright but comfortable, with large animals and roadways. An unfamiliar man told them "You don't belong here" and sent them away. They went to a neutral place to take a "class" lasting experientially about a week though only hours passed. After surgery, they slipped back into the experience, joining a class with other beings where each received different tools. Working with a lab partner, they spent experientially four months learning to use the tool, then two months in the field building a healing construct combining both their tools. Total experiential time was six months over two to three days of Earth time. They awoke to medical staff with a large needle, with the doctor leaping back when they spoke. The doctor mentioned the effort required to wake them. At another point, they met "the lady of the veil" who placed hands on their neck and belly, transporting them to rolling hills of memory foam grass with flowers. An unprecedented entity embraced them with complete unconditional love and acceptance for two experiential months. They believed this was a realm only for the truly dead and thought they weren't returning, yet someone made an exception. Upon return, their "life cord" was changed or absent. Six months later, work performance reviews showed a complete personality discontinuity, with managers arguing about contradictory assessments, labeled a "discontinuity" by upper management.
