The experiencer attempted suicide hoping to disappear into nothingness. Instead, their spirit or "conscious-energy" left their body and observed surgeons operating to save their life. A kidney surgeon was repairing a kidney cut in half, while another surgeon patched their colon which had been cut open, spilling intestinal waste into the abdominal cavity. From near the surgical suite lights, they watched and noticed the surgeons telling jokes while operating, with nurses and doctors laughing.
They then "zipped off" into what some call Purgatory, though they had never believed in it previously. Suddenly, vast knowledge about the afterlife became known to them as if they had always known it. They felt Jesus shove them back toward the operating room with incredible speed. They awoke in an ancillary room unable to move, thinking they were paralyzed. A nurse was shocked they had awakened and had breathing problems. The surgeon helped their breathing, but the anesthesia had worn off unexpectedly and they urinated on him before passing out again. In ICU, they recognized a nurse from surgery who was stunned. They described the surgery, jokes, and details to her. The surgeon dismissed it saying their ears probably captured everything and they recognized people by voices. Years later, knowledge began flowing to them and premonitions came true, leading them to research their experience. They now communicate with conscious-energies in what they call the "Energic Conscious Continuum" (their scientific term for the Spirit Realm). The verified observations during surgery while unconscious, later development of accurate premonitions, and ongoing communication abilities suggest consciousness continuation beyond physical death.
