The subject overdosed on alcohol and pills in what may have been a suicide attempt, resulting in being clinically dead several times over approximately one hour. They were given last rites by a priest as medical staff worked to resuscitate them. During this critical period, the subject experienced floating near the ceiling looking down at the crowded room full of people including family and medical staff. They observed their mother crying intensely, showing deep love and distress, while their father stood to the side looking speechless. The priest was observed administering last rites. The subject could hear or perceive the thoughts of doctors and nurses believing they would not survive. They felt stuck near the ceiling for what seemed like a long time, observing themselves and everyone in the room. During this time, they experienced being pulled away from their body but resisted, thinking or saying "I'm not ready to go." They then moved back toward their body and awakened the following day in the hospital bed. Weeks later, when the mother began describing the events, the subject stopped her and accurately recounted everything that had occurred - who was present in the room, the father standing silent, the priest's actions, and all other details. The mother confirmed all observations were accurate, validating the out-of-body perceptions during clinical death.
